RS 303 - Masai Mara
Day 1: In the morning, drive through the breathtakingly,
spectacular Great Rift Valley to Masai Mara – the
greatest of nature's stages. After lunch, enjoy an
afternoon
game drive to get a closer look at the Mara. On the
plains, with their endless vistas and enormous herds
of grazing animals, look for the predators hidden
among the acacia trees: Black-maned lion, cheetah
and leopard. There are hippos in the rivers and exotic
birds everywhere. Thereafter, return to your lodge
/ tented camp for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: Two game drives for the day in this country of breath-taking
vistas, a panorama of vast rolling plains and rounded hills, of intermittent
groves of acacia woodlands and dense thickets of scrub. And in every
direction there are seemingly endless herds of game animals - black
maned lions, buffalo, black rhino, hippopotamus, leopard, cheetah,
common zebra, Coke’s hartebeest, white-bearded gnu, oribi, warthog
and Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelles. The bird life of Mara is as profuse
as its mammalian fauna. All meals and overnight stay are at the lodge
/ tented camp.
Day 3: After breakfast, return to Nairobi. |
