RS 304 - Amboseli
Day 1: In the morning , drive past the scenic Athi Plains
and into the bushy country of Amboseli National Park. Amboseli is
the perfect auditorium for scenic views of Africa's highest mountain,
Mount Kilimanjaro. Ringed by a halo of cumulus, its wedding cake peak
floating magically in the incredible blue of the African sky while
below herds of elephants graze, Kilimanjaro provides a fitting backdrop
to this wild region. Amboseli is also the region where pastoral Masai
and their cattle have lived in harmony with wild creatures for many
a century. After lunch, an afternoon game drive to observe the picturesque
Amboseli. Dinner and overnight at one of the lodges located in the
very heart of the Amboseli National Park.
Day 2: Early morning and evening game drives for a chance
to photograph the animals silhouetted against the magnificent backdrop
of Mt Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.
Day 3: Depart for Nairobi after breakfast. |
